The week after we arrived in Oxford, we didn't have Internet access. That just wouldn't do, so I moseyed on down to the neighborhood Starbucks and politely borrowed their Internet connection. I became rather friendly with the baristas there, purchasing lots of bottled water to stave off my guilt for using (and probably abusing) the system.

The downtown area of Oxford is just so darn cute. If it had two chubby cheeks, I'd be pinching them into oblivion.

Get this: Oxford has a covered bridge. That is quite possibly, the cutest of the cute things a town could have. Unfortunately, it's no longer usable for cars. I got to walk inside of it, though.

Since we're surrounded by farmland, it makes perfect sense that Oxford would have a farmer's market. We found out about it on our second day here, and discovered the absolute best apple cider there. Ever.
If you look very closely, you can spot my fiance in one of the pictures. Hint: he's tall. Very tall.

The area around Oxford is absolutely breathtaking - lots of rolling hills and trees. Not like the flatlands of Wisconsin or Illinois, that's for sure! Unfortunately, I don't think my camera did the landscape justice. You'll just have to take my word for it.

I must be off, fair blogosphere. In the meantime, enjoy my obligatory silly cat picture:
